The International Comedy Club chain has featured and promoted mostly Canadian comedians since 1976. The Comedy Cabarets were founded by Mark Breslin and feature some of the funniest, edgiest comics around. Past shows have been performed by such comic greats as Howie Mandel, Jim Carrey, Norm MacDonald, Harland Williams, Rick Moranis, Russell Peters and others.
The Comedy Club offers dinner theatre and live entertainment for all kinds of private and public functions and events.

- 16 to 18 year olds may attend with adult accompaniment
- There is no dress code and no smoking in the club
- Shows run approximately 105 minutes long and the line-ups change every week

The downtown location on Elgin Street seats up to 150 people in a casual, cabaret style ambience. Up to 50 sit down dinners with regular menu of 4 entrees, or 100 buffet-style dinners. They recommend that you make reservations. Seating is on a first come, first served basis–reservations only provide admission.

It is probably a good idea to arrive early so you have your pick of seats. I would not want to end up in the front row… otherwise, you might end up inadvertently providing material for their jokes!
If on the other hand, you love the spotlight, by all means, plant yourself front-row-centre.
