Valleyview Little Animal Farm is a great place to bring toddlers and early school-age children. There’s plenty of fun stuff to climb on in their Creative Play Area. Bring some coins and they can feed little creatures by hand–goats, chickens, rabbits and other typical petting-zoo animals. There are plenty of large size creatures too: llamas, donkeys, horses, cows etc. You can take the Valleyview Express — a little train that circles the crops and sunflower forest and the pumpkin patch and corn maze in the fall. The kids will enjoy the Valleyview Farm’s play area with lots of outdoor structures to climb on.

Things to Do at the Farm
The Creative Play Area at Valleyview Little Animal Farm will amuse your kids endlessly–almost more than the live animals! Their play area is filled with custom wooden play structures that will spark your children’s imaginations, including a pirate ship, truck, mini sugar shack, and airplane. In the fall, a corn maze is planted in a field nearby.
The Little Animal Barn is where you’ll find the newest farm animal babies in the Spring. Bring some spare change and you’ll be able to feed the goats and typical petting-zoo-type animals here. Then take a stroll up the Country Walk and get up close and personal with the larger farm animals including llamas, donkeys, ponies, horses, sheep, peacocks, emus and even a duck pond.
To give the kids a little break, hop on the Valleyview Express which meanders through the farm crops and Sunflower Forest. In the fall, you’ll get to see the pumpkin patch too. The train runs daily several times throughout the Spring, Fall and Summer seasons.
Three times a day on weekends in Spring and Fall, and daily Tuesday – Sunday for July and August, be sure to catch the Puppet Shows. For those who are educationally-inclined, check out Bill’s Old Farm Museum. It is a large private collection of lovingly restored farm treasures from the last century. The collection fills five barns! Working antiques include tractors, steam engines, horse-drawn farm implements, hand tools and household implements. Demonstrations are available for pre-booked group tours.
For a unique idea, host a birthday party at Valleyview Little Animal Farm! A free, fully decorated party room is available for one hour bookings. The capacity is anywhere from 2 to 24 people. Print your free invitations from their website. Regular admission applies. There are charges for services which include lunch menus, birthday treats, and refundable cleaning deposit.
For food services, a cafe serves reasonably priced light lunches and snacks — cafeteria style. There is also a covered picnic area for those that choose to bring their own lunch.
On your way out, stop at the Gift Shop, where you’ll find unique farm toys, specialty items and souvenirs.
Note: On special holidays, Valleyview Little Animal Farm offers special events depending on the season, from easter egg hunting, sheep shearing, puppet shows and story time to corn roasts, children’s entertainment, corn mazes, and pumpkin painting.
